"CELEBRATION OF GIVING"

Kids Tennis Foundation was again a very fortunate beneficiary of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation (LMCF) in 2008, recently receiving a much-needed funding boost of $30,000.
Announced at the annual “Celebration of Giving”, a special event hosted by the Foundation’s President Lord Mayor John So in October, this grant was made possible due to the outstanding generosity of Mrs Anne Foote and her late husband, Eldon Foote, who established the Eldon & Anne Foote Trust within the LMCF to distribute its revenue to worthy causes.
Mr & Mrs Foote have always been keen to support innovative projects and causes that are making a significant contribution to society. Kids Tennis Foundation is thrilled that the importance of its work has been recognised through being awarded this grant.
Each year the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation supports more than 400 health and human care organisations delivering critical community support, including organisations dealing with homelessness and drug addiction, public hospitals, services for the disabled, aged, young people and families.
The Foundation’s CEO Mr Andrew Chappell said that the Foundation had increased its fundraising efforts to enable a 100 per cent increase in funds available for distribution from $4M in 2007, to $8.1M in 2008 to over 400 charities.
Kids Tennis Foundation would like to sincerely thank the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation for this recognition and generosity.
AUSTRALIAN OPEN CHARITY DAY

The Tennis Australia Charitable Fund has once again nominated Kids Tennis Foundation as one of the official charity partners for Australian Open 2009!
Charity Day will be held on Sunday 25th January 2009. You can help raise money simply by depositing your ticket stub into specially marked bins around Melbourne Park on this day.
Kids Tennis Foundation is absolutely thrilled and delighted to be recognised by Tennis Australia in this way.
GARNIER – TAKING CARE OF KTF AT AO 2009

KTF ♥’s GARNIER!
Garnier Ambre Solaire, the official supplier of sunscreen to the Australian Open for the last four years, has enjoyed remarkable success at the tournament and it was announced earlier in the year that this partnership has been extended until 2010.
At the 2009 Australian Open, Garnier will continue to celebrate their message with the wider community, proudly Taking Care of others by giving away mini Ambre Solaire sun protection in exchange for a gold coin donation to Kids Tennis Foundation. Talk about generous!
$30,000 was raised at AO 2008 but you can help boost this amount – so look out for the roaming Garnier Ambre Solaire teams at Melbourne Park and give generously! There will also be a gold-coin donation box living at Garnier World too – so drop by for some pampering in between the tennis action.
Kids Tennis Foundation is ever so grateful to be associated with Garnier once again at Australian Open 2009.
As a result of the wonderful partnerships Kids Tennis Foundation shares with the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation, Tennis Australia and Garnier, many more disadvantaged children around Australia will be able to receive tennis coaching on a regular weekly basis, not to mention the boost to their self-esteem and self-confidence too.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
