Over this wet we have seen a few changes in our coaching ranks with Steve Merker leaving Katherine and returning to Queensland, and Matt Roberts has left the Red Centre to head off to Gosford. While we have new coaches in place they are establishing their programs and we haven't had an opportunity
to revisit KTF programs.
We have recommenced a program in Adelaide River after an eighteen month break and it was a tad disappointing to see the court after the heavy rain and flooding over the wet this year - even Nana Maddy’s chair is in need of a face lift.
Good news though as the Council has made the decision to resurface the courts and as part of the KTF program we have offered to help with replacement of the net and posts.
As you can see the kids still enjoy the sessions and give coach Sandie a good workout...
In 2008, we are looking at increasing the number of programs in the Adelaide River and Daly River area as well as commencing new ones in Katherine, Alice Springs and Gove.
