Welcome Back
This term I would like to welcome these schools back to Kids Tennis programs: Highgate, John Forrest, Guildford, Kendenup, Frankland, Wellstead, Parklands, Holland St, Beachlands, Chapman Valley, Rangeway, Yuna, Christian Primary, Nulsen, and Woodthorpe, a new school to the program just out of Albany. I’m sure Term 4 will see some great tennis being played at these schools!
Yahoo For Yuna’s Tennis Days
In Geraldton our KTF coach, Colin Thompson, had a wonderful time out at Yuna Primary school coaching the children with even some of the mums wanting to join in! Here are some of the kids’ thoughts about tennis:

The best part of the lessons for them:

Patrick - “The obstacle course”
Mitchell - “My favourite game was alligator”
Holly - “I liked the wood chopper game”

Coming Soon!
Yes, it’s almost that time of year again! Hyundai Hopman Cup time! The Hyundai Hopman cup will feature some top players again this year with our own Lleyton Hewitt and Samantha Stosur pairing up for Australia!
Apart from the on-court excitement, don’t forget to come on down to our KTF booth during the tennis breaks to rejoin as a “Friend of Kids Tennis Foundation”. For those of you who joined up last year, you will soon be receiving your free voucher to one of the 2010 Hopman Cup sessions. Either use the voucher yourself to enjoy or as a great Xmas present slipped inside a card! If you bring cash or a cheque to the booth at the Cup you will automatically be in the running for a Hyundai Hopman Cup poster signed by all the players! You have to be in it to win it! We will also have our $5 tennis
pins for sale again this year. |
