| MOTHERS' DAY LUNCH 2008 |

 Decorated in red to match the “Lady in Red” theme, the room looked spectacular highlighted by the magnificent centerpieces of superb vases filled with a dozen long stemmed premium red roses all most generously donated by Jill McIntyre from Bridge Road Florist…with close to 400 guests these were snapped up and an extra $3,000 from these alone boosted funds raised to help disadvantaged kids. Thank you just so much Jill.
Another dear friend of KTF, Mark Tucker, donated (as he has done for many years now) the most fabulous Garnier/Maybelline New York gift bag for all guests present and how popular they were too.
In fact, everything about the day was a winner, the highlight hearing from special guest speaker, The Hon. Justice Betty King who had everyone totally enthralled ……personal tales, court tales, etc. What an incredible, special lady! And no, she wasn’t wearing her red glasses!
This function becomes more popular every year (this year had a waiting list!) due to hard work of KTF Social Committee namely Jane Anderson, Mary Eke, Louise Higgins, Lesley McNamee, Judy Norton, Julie O’Sullivan and Gianna Trovato with special thanks to KTF National Co-ordinator Kate Szabo.
Sincere thanks to the many generous supporters of KTF too including Leonda by the Yarra, Melimar Estate, Barbara Guzzardi, Abbe Corrugated, Violet Priscilla, Australian National Couriers, Bud, Catherine Austin, Donburn Cellars, Endota Spa (Melbourne), Enhance Accessories & Gifts, Entertainment Publications, Louise Higgins, Golf Australia, Rena Grantham, Mandy Nowlan, Sukin Organics and Wind & Water for their fantastic donations.

Amongst those who enjoyed the day were Lady Mayoress Wendy Cheng, Lyn Swinburne (BCNA), Pixie McNamee (Paul’s mum), Lesley McNamee, the King Family, Dorothy Keyte just to name a few as well as many supporters of Susie, celebrating her 21st year as CEO of Kids Tennis Foundation.
All funds raised on the day will help KTF “give disadvantaged kids a better shot”! Another truly successful KTF fund-raiser!
