 Not only did the beautiful Autumn weather allow the ladies to enjoy pre lunch drinks on the Terrace but the charming Kooyong Room, decorated with the very pretty pink floral centerpieces, provided just the right setting for this very happy day indeed. Guest Speaker, well known entertainer Tottie Goldsmith, was very generous in donating her time and entertained the audience with stories of her past, her time on stage & screen and now her foray into the “wellness” industry.
It is no wonder that this function becomes more popular year by year. A picturesque setting, great food and wine, entertainment , truly fantastic L’Oreal gift bags plus the very latest magazines plus chocolates plus gift certificates for all guests and ….spot prizes for many too!
Proceeds from the auction of a framed KTF shirt signed by Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Amelie Mauresmo, Kim Clisters, Sam Stosur just to name a few (not a bad list!) and an extremely successful raffle helped raise in excess of $12,000 on the day. This fantastic result means that KTF will be able to maintain many of the regular weekly coaching programs for financially & socially disadvantaged children in Primary Schools throughout Australia.
