 “The Tall Poppies” set the scene for what was truly a great, fun night. The generosity of Tania de Jong and Dominique Oyston, sopranos from Pot-Pourri and DIVA! is truly appreciated by all at KTF and their superb performance certainly added a special touch to the evening. The food was fantastic, the Saltram wines excellent and the Brian Fitzgerald Band’s lively performance of numbers from the 60’s and beyond ensured that the dance floor was always packed.
Ross Stevenson, top rating breakfast radio host with 3AW, was brilliant as M.C. KTF is truly indebted to Ross for donating his time to help the cause. Items in the Main Auction attracted much attention with fabulous prices being realised thanks to the wonderful skills of Auctioneer, Andrew MacMillan. Sincere thanks to MFS Managed Funds, Delaware North Companies Australia, Hyundai Hopman Cup, Spotless Group Limited, Dagmar Boje-O’Brien, Aaron's Outdoor Creations, The Melbourne Wine Room and Hal Salter, 3AW Southern Cross Radio, Rex Airlines, Burnie Airport and Tas Vacations, Casa Domani, and Entertainment Consulting Group for these truly sensational auction items.
The “Last Hat in the Ring” fundraiser added to the excitement of the evening with the lucky owner of the “Last Hat” coming away with the grand prize of $2,000! Fantastic prizes were also on offer in the Grand Raffle, thanks to substantial donations from Tennis Australia, Marian Rennie Gallery, Carol Mules, Chapter One Boutique and 230 Boutique, Amandarine, The Lifestylers Group, Grand Hyatt Melbourne, Adairs, Prince, Enhance Accessories & Gifts, Ego Pharmaceuticals, Jane Anderson, W.H. Amad, Wind & Water, Virginia Hellier, Catalyst, Lisa Ho and Sabatini. Thanks also to HSJ Advertising, who designed and produced the fabulous invitations and programmes, and to Vega Press and Impact Digital for the printing of same. And, to those wonderful people who organised tables heartfelt thanks.

Funds raised on the night will enable Kids Tennis Foundation to continue to provide tennis coaching on a regular weekly basis for many, many financially and socially disadvantaged kids throughout Australia.
