| MOTHERS' DAY LUNCH 2010 |

 Leonda by the Yarra once again provided a very elegant venue enhanced by the striking black & white theme and the beautiful pink tulip centerpieces most generously donated by Louise Higgins and Kate Hill Flowers respectively.
Another wonderful supporter of KTF, Garnier, once again donated the most fabulous Garnier gift bag for all guests present and as usual, just so popular and very much appreciated. In addition, one of our hard working Social Committee girls, Mandy Nowlan, donated a lovely Cosgrove & Beasley Handbag for everyone. How generous! With a bag of chocolates for everyone too, thanks to the generosity of yet another fantastic Social Committee girl, Jane Anderson, it is no wonder the 400 ladies who attended the lunch were all smiles.
The luncheon went off without a hitch. Paul McNamee, Founder & Chairman of Kids Tennis Foundation, was fabulous as the special Guest Speaker. Paul had the entire room in the palm of his hands; no mean feat with 400 ladies present! Paul told amazing stories about his career & in particular, his time on the circuit, thanking his mother, Pixie, for her love & support during this time. Paul’s stories were very applicable to this function highlighting the importance of the hard work and dedication of Mothers.
An extremely successful raffle plus donations for the floral centrepieces helped raise in excess of $18,000. This great result means that KTF will be able to maintain many regular weekly coaching programs and help put smiles on the faces of many underprivileged children throughout Australia.
This wonderful function could not have been possible without the generous help of the KTF Social Committee Jane Anderson, Mary Eke, Louise Higgins, Lesley McNamee, Judy Norton, Mandy Nowlan, Julie O’Sullivan and Gianna Trovato with special thanks to KTF new National Co-ordinator Sarah Nowlan and work placement student, Jessica Clements.

With an incredible Guest Speaker, wonderful setting, superb centerpieces, amazing food, beyond doubt popular gift bags and chocolates for all, spectacular table prizes, it is no wonder everyone was just so impressed and had an absolute ball!
