The Ballroom looked stunning and tennis legend, John Alexander, was wonderful as MC, delighting the 350 guests with memorable moments from his years on the tour. It was great also to see so many from the tennis, sporting and corporate worlds in attendance. The brilliant performance of numbers from “Mike Brady, Lisa Edwards & Friends” certainly had the place jumping. Feedback has been just fantastic with many commenting on the high quality of the food, wine and auction items.

This was one of our most successful Galas yet, with the Main Auction, Silent Auction and the Grand Raffle helping raise in excess of $70,000. Truly an incredible result!
Special thanks also to KTF National Co-ordinator, Kate Szabo and the members of the Kids Tennis Foundation Social Committee for all their dedication and commitment prior to and on the night, namely Jane Anderson, Mary Eke, Louise Higgins, Lesley McNamee, Judy Norton, Julie O’Sullivan and Gianna Trovato, with thanks also to our photographer, Cathy O’Reilly.
As a result of funds raised, Kids Tennis Foundation will be able to continue to provide coaching programs on a regular weekly basis for many, many disadvantaged children throughout Australia. There is a big short fall between the funding we receive and what it costs to run all our programs, hence our fund raising events are extremely important.
